I took the traceroute-1.4a12-mpls-icmp-02.patch patch from Fedora's RPM CVS and inserted it straight into the traceroute-1.4-genpatches.tar.gz package, adding a single line to the ebuild to have the patch applied at build time. On my three x86 boxes at hand, it works like a charm. Attached find the ebuild and the patch. Note that the patch would need to be added to traceroute-1.4-genpatches.tar.gz for this to work. Patch from: http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/*checkout*/rpms/traceroute/FC-4/traceroute-1.4a12-mpls-icmp-02.patch?rev=1.1
Created attachment 81769 [details] traceroute-1.4_p12-r4.ebuild traceroute-1.4_p12-r4.ebuild with a line added to apply traceroute-1.4a12-mpls-icmp-02.patch.
Created attachment 81770 [details, diff] traceroute-1.4a12-mpls-icmp-02.patch traceroute-1.4a12-mpls-icmp-02.patch to be added to traceroute-1.4-genpatches.tar.gz to work with traceroute-1.4_p12-r4.ebuild.
Hi, Thanks, added patch in cvs. I added it in $FILESDIR, since the patch is small enough and injecting it in the patch tarball would break digests for people who already have it for the other releases. Cheers
