I did an "emerge --update --deep --newuse world", which tried to emerge the latest openoffice, but crashed.
 Here's the error message:

Without a bit more information this one is really hard to diagnose. Please try to attach at least the last couple of hundred lines of the output. The full log is ok too, but attach it, not include as comment.

Please try again with sane build flags and if the problem persists, reopen the bug. The ebuild explicitely warns about CFLAG-overoptimization, so I'm not going to take this. And also check if your harddisc didn't fill up
