Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-08 07:25:18 UTC
The last stable version of aumix still has the deprecated gtk2 useflag; please consider marking latest version stable so that we can drop that (latest version also solves problems like the mute script not working correctly).

Thanks,
Diego

I tried it on alpha and I was able to make aumix lockup/freeze. It is sort of random, but not too diffcult to reproduce if you try hard enough...

To reproduce the error, move the sliders back and forth really fast while switching between them. It doesn't always happen right away, but it will eventually freeze.

Here is a backtrace after a freeze...

I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I was using audacious at the time to listen to music and to make sure all of the balance and mute controls in aumix worked. I'm also using oss with the 2.4 kernel.

Marked stable on ppc by hansmi, removing ppc from cc

hppa done by vapier.

After re-testing aumix on alpha it seems that I cannot reproduce the issue I described in comment #5. The bug was not major and only presented itself when I deliberately tried to crash the program by moving many different sliders as fast as I could. I've marked it stable on alpha since the bug isn't reproducable, didn't happen during normal use of the program, and wasn't introduced in this rev-bump.

It looks like someone already marked this stable on arm, so I'm removing arm from the CC.

The mips team doth annoint this bug with the Mark of Stability +1.
