the actual wengophone has a lot of problems with gcc 4.1
(sorry actually i just lost the log, this will be a ping to mainteiner)

using alsa and not oss.

1) when linking the portaudio lib i have a undefined version on libasound (alsa lib)
fixed by removing -lasound flag (and this is strange! should give undefined refs)
2) during qt compilation there are errors for a regular expression and others too.

can the mainteiner bump to a new cvs/svn snapt and test with gcc 4.1.0?

please bring that up on their upstream mailing list.

I got wengophone NG working with gcc-4 (not gcc-4.1 yet)
wengophone NG is what I am working on currrently:

I asked for gcc-4.1 support on the wengophone mailing list, let's see.

i'll wait a 4.1 compatible version, as i can't compile others!
