Hey. I tried lot of versions like 2.0.42, then some _pre versions and now 2.1.2 (see $URL). But with each version the convertion fails... well, not fails, but "stop working" just stops at 96% and I have to kill it. It was long time ago (with older kernel, GCC 3.4 and less C[XX]FLAGS - only safe), and now the same. I really don't know what to do. :-( Output: Video format DVD or DVD (lavc), 150-9800 kb/s, 4:3 or 16:9. Audio 128 kb/s MP2 or AC3 stereo, Film > PAL, Resample to Hz: 48000, Resize to 720x576, and convert to 25 FPS with, or without linear blend. I used to use that as I don't know how to do that with MEncoder, or FFmpeg. Hm... it's a known bug and it will be fixed in Avidemux 2.3. http://avidemux.berlios.de/dotclear/index.php?2006/07/23/16-22-in-fact-it-will-be-23-wiki-change#tb So, RESOLVED/LATER?
