when i try startkde i see that message:

startkde :Starting up
kdeinit: Aborting. socket() failed: Address family not supported by protocol.
Warning: socket ()failed :Address family not supported by protocol.
.IceTransSocketINETConnect() no usable address for wierzba:[number;p]
kdeinit: Aborting, socket () failed: Address family not supported by protocol
Could not register with DCOPServer. Aborting
ERROR: Couldn't attach to DCOPServer !
startkde: shutting down...
Warning: socket ()failed :Address family not supported by protocol.
ERROR: Can't contact kdeinit!

it will be nice if someone know a solution

my kde doesn't start... and i try a lot to solve that...but i didn't find a solution :(
(yes, i look to manual -> many times...)
maye something wrong with my config ?? but where ?

Uh, I was referring to the fact that you have misfiled this bug under Gentoo Bugzilla product. Oh well...

Your DCOPserver can't create sockets.

Did you compile a kernel without support for unix sockets?
Do you have a /tmp directory
Can you read/write to it? (sticky bit set?)
