A LiveCD can be more then a preview/installer CD. It would be nice to be able to use the LiveCD for recovery purposes aswell. Now I know there are specific LiveCD's created soly for this purpose.

However I do feel a few 'recovery'/administration kind of applications would be nice. I was thinking about a GUI parted version. Allthough the GUI version in the installer looks very nice, you can't use it to modify any existing partitions.

Therefore one of the GUI versions, like gparted for example, would be nice to have on the LiveCD.

I've added gparted to my local templates and they'll be added to the next release.

...and for some reason, it didn't end up getting added.  Strange.

Scheduled for the next release, then, and added to CVS.
