Description jochen 2006-03-05 06:28:42 UTC
the patch 060 from the gentoo patch set for seamonkey 1.0 breaks the find text/link as you type feature for me: the menu entries in the edit menu are always disabled. also, going to links by typing them doesn't work.

when removing the patch from the patchset, seamonkey has the expected behaviour.

Same behavior here.

Just emerged seamonkey-1.0-r1 and bug is still present. Although "Find [Link|Text] |as you type ['|/]" is now selectable in the Edit menu, it is not functional. When I press / and start typing or when I select the either option from the Edit menu, nothing occurs.

Results from emerge -pv seamonkey:
[ebuild R ] www-client/seamonkey-1.0-r1 USE="crypt gnome ipv6 java postgres -debug -ldap -mozcalendar* -mozdevelop -moznocompose -moznoirc -moznomail -moznoroaming -xinerama -xprint" 0 kB

System is an i686 running 2.6.15-suspend2-r8.
