Description jochen 2006-03-05 01:45:48 UTC
The seamonkey-1.0 ebuild lacks support for enigmail (enigmail 0.94.0 works with seamonkey)

patch to add enigmail

This patch includes enigmail in the seamonkey-1.0 ebuild, when the crypt keyword is set
Comment 2 Jory A. Pratt 2006-03-05 03:51:17 UTC
patch is incorrect I will add enigmail support sometime this week with proper build format for enigmail. I have to add a makemake2 function to mozcoreconf.eclass and fix the unpack path.
Comment 3 jochen 2006-03-05 04:12:15 UTC
well, at least it works[tm]

did you read the news section at the enigmail page? the enigmail extension now includes ipc and is supposed to be put into the mailnews/extension dir... http://enigmail.mozdev.org/source.html#enigmail

enigmail.patch

Hi.

I think Jory knows everything to add enigmail to seamonkey ebuild.

Enigmail-0.94.0 ebuild from the portage tree does not use another function from eclass, so based on that here is correct patch without changeing mozcoreconf.eclass, but if Jory wants to make it his way, than his way is correct way ;-).

As I remember, all of this was already discussed in Bug #116231
Comment 5 Jory A. Pratt 2006-03-25 17:04:19 UTC
temp support threw seamonkey for seamonkey. Will rework seamonkey and enigmail to use enigmail ebuild instead of including the build in seamonkey.
