Could you please put libxslt-1.1.14-r2 back to Portage? There is a bug in 1.1.15 that causes segfaults when working with XML that has footnotes. See bug number 106992.

No, we couldn't. Versions <1.1.15 have a nasty bug that breaks tons of compiles (Bug 105297).
