Description Kai Schlüter 2002-12-20 08:30:30 UTC
If the jpeg is not in USE (-jpeg) then nagios will fail to build.
Comment 1 Kai Schlüter 2002-12-20 08:52:48 UTC
In fact libgd must have been build with the jpeg option.
Comment 2 Dean Bailey 2003-06-17 22:02:18 UTC
I'm gunna look into seeing if there is a way I can check libgd for the
required jpeg compile option, and error out with a warning if it was not
compiled with it. Will take me a few days.

What's the current status of this bug?
Comment 4 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-03-09 06:48:27 UTC
any status?
Comment 5 Jon Hood (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-02 20:13:24 UTC
If there's a problem with this package, it is in libgd needing jpeg support- is there anyone here who can reproduce this bug or test? The only machine I have nagios on is 300 MHz, so it would take a long time for me to try to reproduce this bug.

# emerge nagios -pv | grep jpeg

Ok, this is solved.
updated on all the nagios-core ebuilds.

Jon, thanks for the idea...
