this is the first version of gentoops (i need a name for it).
if anyone is interested in it, i will further improve it.

i think it is intuitive but until now it only lists some sorts of
packages in tables...

Wow! This one is really neat. Can you:
1) Add a man page for it ?
2) Let it read /etc/gentoops/gentoops.conf for password and port settings
3) Add versioning to the .tar.gz file

And I'll add it to our repository.

Also, it would be very, very, very nice if all its functionality was available 
from the command prompt as well as the web interface, as qpkg, epm, etc are 
getting very dated now.

currently no work on it.
