Description Patrick Flaherty 2002-12-18 15:01:12 UTC
Evolution 1.0.8.

USE="X gtk -gtk2 gnome -alsa avi bonobo crypt evo mozilla mpeg quicktime spell
truetype xmms aalib berkdb cups dga encode flash gd gtkhtml imap imlib pam png
sdl ssl mmx sse"

CFLAGS='-march=pentium3 -mcpu=pentium3 -O3 -pipe'
CXXFLAGS='-march=pentium3 -mcpu=pentium3 -O3 -pipe'

Basicaly, if you start to type anything into the TO: text box, as soon as it
starts to auto complete, the text box stops responding. if you click the "To"
button as soon as you hit okay the text box stops responding. you can then close
the compose window, but then the evolution mail selector, and mail body go
transparent/crapout/stop-working.

When run from a terminal no errors show up, but on exit
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_ShellComponent won't die (meaning evolution
won't exit)

ideas? i've already reemerged it twice.

have you tried evolution-1.2.1 ? does this solve the problem?
Comment 2 Patrick Flaherty 2003-03-03 14:40:59 UTC
Yes, I upgraded, and updated and all is well.
