Description Jeffrey Forman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-25 06:16:48 UTC
I just checked your mirror and it looks over 18 days old. I have removed it from our download listing. Please let me know the status of this, as to whether I can completely remove it or whether this situation is only temporary.

Thanks,
Jeffrey

Unresponsive, completely removing from mirrors.xml file.

Sorry, there was some 1.5 months of downtime due to hardware issues and time constraints. I didn't see this bug as mail for the mirror ran on the same box.

The mirror has now been up for the past 2 months or so, still syncing from masterdistfiles for source/distfiles, but from a 2nd tier for portage. Would appreciate if you could re-add 203.127.221.98 to rsync1.us, and to the lists of distsfiles and portage mirrors.

Would be nice to have the name of an admin as well, but it isn't a requirement per se. I'll check again over the next two days before adding you folks back to the rsync rotation.

I'm adding your mirror to the rsync.sg.gentoo.org rotation and your mirror will be rsync1.sg.gentoo.org.

Please start syncing from rsync1.us.gentoo.org as mentioned at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/rsync.xml. We would like you to subscribe to the gentoo-mirrors Mailing List by sending an email to gentoo-mirrors-subscribe@lists.gentoo.org, as we send our notifications of updates, releases, and changes in policy to the mirrors.

Please also monitor http://mirrorstats.gentoo.org/rsync as this application is used to keep track of the up-to-date nature of our mirrors

For Infrastructure,

Shyam Mani

Leaving the bug open till the distfiles part is handled.

Thanks. How about to the rsync.asia rotation?

I'm already subscribed to the gentoo-mirrors list as I've been mirroring for some years now. Just in case the mlm removed me after earlier mail bounces, I've tried to subscribe again, and it confirmed that I'm already subscribed :)
