Sigh, four hours later Vapier has duplicated efforts and added - is there a fast track system for getting ebuilds into portage - as I tend to hear very little back from anyone after a bug report with valid fixes... Like my ones for gtk and linuxwacom - which are valid.
Comment 3 Kevin F. Quinn (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-25 05:14:10 UTC
There is no "fast track" for getting ebuilds into the portage tree. Any dev adding stuff without doing the necessary QA will be in trouble. You can always use overlays if you want to experiment with stuff up-to-the-minute.

Particularly with regards the gcc snapshots/release candidates, there really is no point bugging about them as toolchain are regularly adding them over the weekend anyway - such bugs just waste everyone's time.

Sorry I won't post toolchain bug reports with ebuilds - thought it may jut save time/effort for the devs.
