Description Cristiano Chiucchiolo 2006-02-24 09:43:40 UTC
This doesn't happen everytime I click the Save button, but it's happened several times since I upgraded to KDE 3.5.1.

Here is the backtrace:

That backtrace is not useful because it's from the crash onward.

Can you try to reproduce by adding -ggdb to your C(XX)FLAGS and splitdebug to FEATURES, then running kwrite from konsole giving:

ulimit -c unlimited
kwrite --nocrashhandler

then when you have the core file, attach the log generated by

        gdb `which kwrite` \
                --core name-of-the-generated-core-file \
                --batch \
                --quiet \
                -ex "bt full" \
                -ex "quit" > kwrite-backtrace

No feedback, if this is still a problem with the latest KDE version, feel free to reopen.
