This ebuild fixes the openafs-1.2.6-r1 ebuild. When you compile the PAM (Pluggable Autentication Module) of OpenAFS there was a strange inclusion: INCLUDES=-I${TOP_SRCDIR}/config -I${TOP_INCDIR} \ -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/sys This inclusion is redundant and blocks the compilation process. I've created a patch and a new ebuild to solve this problem. The files are respectively "openafs-1.2.6-include.patch" and "openafs-1.2.6-r2.ebuild" I hope this help all the guys on the gentoo forum (Thanks for the suggestions).

Ah ... this bug is related to the bug #7775
Gualtiero: Does the ebuild currently work? I've committed a few patches to it the past couple days.

Created attachment 6853 [details] Updated ebuild I'm uploading an ebuild that's identical to the one already here, except that it updateds env.d/01openafs to put /usr/afsws/bin, /etc/afs/afsws, etc. in the PATH.
Ok, the new ebuild seems to work well.
I've used openafs for a considerably long period of time and all works well.
