Hi
I have build ebuild for knetspeed applet.
In my port_overlay is located in kde-misc/knetspeed/
 
Knetspeed is an applet to show ethernet devices speed.

I wait for this contribution is of utility to the project.

I don't see the point adding yet another one of this sort of application. Does knetspeed provide something one of

net-misc/kbandwidth
net-misc/knemo
net-misc/knetload
net-misc/knetmonapplet
net-misc/ktraynetworker

or the ksysguard kicker applet don't?

As carlo mentioned there is a huge variety of kde packages to monitor ethernet and wireless stuff. In addition knetspeed seems dead.
