The doc files have moved in this release because of i18n, and the bumped ebuild was not changed accordingly. As a consequence, fcron-3.0.1 fails to install all the doc files (manpages, html files, and most of the txt files). The following ebuild patch fixes that. It also removes useless install.txt and gpl.txt files, and adds $LINGUAS support to install localized manpages and html files (only french is available at the moment, but this ebuild code should be generic enough if some more languages are added in the future). Note that english docs are always installed, whatever $LINGUAS is (sure, I can change that if you don't like it this way).

Created attachment 80456 [details, diff] fcron-3.0.1-ebuild--install-doc-files.patch Changed "dohtml .../HTML/*" to "dohtml .../HTML/*.html", just to be safe, like it was in the original ebuild.
It would be great, if this could be implemented. It's not nice to have no documentation... :|
I can confirm this issue, which is a serious one, IMHO.
ka0ttic seems to be Missing In Action. after having talked to kloeri, I'm taking over maintainership of fcron for the first. Meanwhile you can use my dev overlay at http://overlays.gentoo.org/dev/wschlich ;-) The init script supports multiple instances. Won't take to long to get a new 3.0.1 into Portage though.
3.0.1-r1 in portage :-)
