Noticed on bug #73435 (comments #164 and #175) that Attila Stehr has had his email address removed from the CC list twice, it looks like both times this happened when Jakub marked another bug as a duplicate of it so my initial guess would be that bugzilla is doing it when adding the reporter of the duplicate to CC. I don't know if you have logs of what happens on bugzilla (that'd be a lot of logs!) but could you investigate? Attila, if you received an email from bugzilla telling you that you were removed from CC, could you paste/attach it here?
*I* did remove the CCs. The bug has 128 dupes, can you just imagine the tons of useless bugspam that would be sent out every time there's a new dupe? Attila, can you perhaps get a life instead of this screaming when being removed from CC on a bug closed ages ago, where nothing's going on except people filing one dupe after another, because their search skills suck? I have really better things to do that to watch for your email address and remember that you like to receive crap into your mailbox, most people don't like it, however I will try to not remove you again from whatever crap you are CCed on.
