When attempting to merge audacity 1.1.0 (or even 1.0.0 for that matter) the
build fails with the following error:

paul media-sound # emerge -p audacity/audacity-1.1.0.ebuild 

These are the packages that I would merge, in order.

Calculating dependencies \!!!    (dependency required by
"media-sound/audacity-1.1.0" [ebuild])

!!! Error calculating dependancies. Please correct.

I think i see the problem with all the audacity builds. The builds require a
specific version of wxGTK, wxGTK-2.2.9, but the ebuild for this version of wxGTK
has been removed and only the ebuild for 2.3.3 is left...

Fixed in another version of portage.
Message output is wrong. Should state a dep of audacity is masked.
