Comment 3 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-18 04:58:20 UTC
Hi,

this is a problem with a wrong placed "die" command in src_install():

src_install() {
        make DESTDIR="${D}" install || die
        dodoc ANNOUNCE AUTHORS ChangeLog DEVELOPERS-HINTS README
die
}

change this into

src_install() {
        make DESTDIR="${D}" install || die
        dodoc ANNOUNCE AUTHORS ChangeLog DEVELOPERS-HINTS README || die
}

or remove it completely and it should work I think. (don't know if "dodoc" triggers "die" automatically on errors so I was putting it at the end of the "dodoc" command)

Cheers
Poly
