i use bittorrnet-console, version 4.2.2
my locale is cs_CZ/ISO-8859-2
the output messages are localised into czech language, that's okat, but they are in utf8 instead of iso8859-2. this makes the czech text hardly readable; latin characters are ok, but accented characters are nonsense. (i'm pretty sure it's this, since i've seen utf8 webpages displayed in iso8859-2 a million times.) i don't know, i'm not a programmer, but shouldn't this be somehow handled by glibc instead of on per-program basis? it doesn't happen in any other program. (of course, i might as well set lc_messages to english, but i'd like to work this out for good of other people).

upstream handles the translation files, we dont do anything to them
