Description Norberto Bensa 2006-02-12 21:12:43 UTC
amarok fails to compile with akode plugin because portage has 2.0-rc1.
Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-13 12:16:13 UTC
To be more exact:

 14-12-2005 - aKode 2.0 released
aKode 2.0 is identical to aKode 2.0 rc1

Please provide the relevant output and `emerge --info`
Comment 2 Norberto Bensa 2006-02-13 14:34:09 UTC
# emerge -pv media-libs/akode amarok

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Diego, is this a problem with the latest Version as well?
Comment 4 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-22 05:26:18 UTC
akode engine was removed, I think I should simply remove the akode flag altogether from older revisions, too.. it never worked well at all.
Comment 5 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-01 10:55:09 UTC
O.k., unless we get flooded with apps not accepting the rc, a fake update is not necessary.
