- missing ebuild header
- missing ebuild header¹ - IUSE is wrong. - RDEPEND="${DEPEND}" - did you test on all the keyworded architectures? [1] http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/handbook/handbook.xml?part=2&chap=3
1. Missed that one; will add 2. Copy/paste syndrom 3. Copy/paste syndrom 4. Copy/paste syndrom I'll create a new ebuild with these fixes ASAP.

*** Bug 250842 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Some things in attachment #175212 [details] in bug #250842 can be incorporated in attachment #79821 [details]: - "need-kde 3" instead of "need-kde 3.3" - add ~x86 keyword - change DEPEND variable to RDEPEND - add app-arch/unrar-gpl as alternative to app-arch/unrar Also I changed some more minor things that are neither in attachment #175212 [details] nor in #79821. I will attach a new ebuild proposal.

Why the RDEPEND="kde-base/kdebase line? kde-base/kdebase finished in version 3.5.9 and is telling me to downgrade all kde (i have 3.5.10), wouldn't be better to depend on kde-base/kdebase-meta if it's really necesary?
Oh, i forgot, it isn't working btw. It gives error on whatever rar file i try.

I remove that dependency. It is not really needed. I should not have included it in the first place. (In reply to comment #10) > Oh, i forgot, it isn't working btw. It gives error on whatever rar file i try. Oh, right. My testing was wrong. Looks like there is some sort of incompatibility with KDE 3.5.9/3.5.10. Anyway, currently I do not have time to look into this.

i'm closing this bug because: - kde3 has been removed from portage - no new upstream releases for kde4
