it works fine here the error it throws is somewhat questionable, because the code block that unpacks the .jar.pack is only executed if the unpack file exists!? if [ -f "$JAVAHOME/lib/unpack" ]; then UNPACK_CMD="$JAVAHOME/lib/unpack" [...] "$UNPACK_CMD" "$JAVAHOME/`dirname $i`/`basename $i .jar`.pack" "$JAVAHOME/$i" if [ ! -f "$JAVAHOME/$i" ]; then die "Failed to unpack jar files ${i}." # Please refer\n" [...]
Do you have IS32 emulation support compiled in your kernel? Please post the output of grep IA32 /usr/src/linux/.config
32 bit emulation is on. Here my grep IA32 /usr/src/linux/.config: CONFIG_IA32_EMULATION=y CONFIG_IA32_AOUT=y
Markus, can you still reproduce this bug?
apparently not

please, stop asking for status reports. the bug has been reopened only 4 days ago. i'm sure somebody who has the knowledge will work on this, but it will take some time.

hrm, strange. Anyway, as nobody can reproduce this anymore, we can't fix it :|
