Description Stefan Jones (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-16 14:01:33 UTC
Support has been in portage for quite some time for the speedtouch modem. Could
it also be in the install CD so users can bootstrap off it.
All that is required is one binary and the init.d scripts, so the size is
negligble.

Requirements:
PPP (already on CD)
hdlc kernel modules in >=2.4.18 (already on CD )
ppp modules (ditto)
USB support

The propietry binary (microcode) has to be put on a floppy and copyed on, but
this is no problem, the user can figure this out, the init.d scripts are very
informative.

Many thanks,

Stefan
