system hard freezes while loading, not kernal panic, crl+alt+del still works
but, after crl+alt+del "no operating system detected" is the only message that
is displade when it trys to inishilize the cd, manual restarted needed to eject
cd.

Comment 3 Andrew Cooks (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-07 05:14:05 UTC
This isn't related to bug 12616 at all, so it must be a bad CD or CDROM or something.
Comment 4 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-25 11:24:19 UTC
Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
