Description Martin Mokrejš 2006-02-11 13:07:53 UTC
For some reason I wanted to recompile my xorg-x11 installation and have unmerged opengl-update. It is required for xorg-x11 although the ebuild warns me it is deprecated ... The below is tail of the xorg-x11 isntall with one error message, possibly related to the fact opengl-update has been freshly installed.

I had app-admin/eselect, x11-base/opengl-update-3.0.0 and app-admin/eselect-opengl-1.0.1 installed. So I went to upgrade eselect-opengl package and it got through fine this time. Maybe you can make something out of it.

Why did you unmerge opengl-update? xorg-x11-6.8.2-r6 explicitely depends on it with USE=opengl set.
