Hi, Currently all (or most of) the PAM modules are in the sys-auth category, so that they can be found sooner (also for fixing by pam herd if something has to be changed from our side). Also, the the symlink of the .so from /usr/lib to /lib is _not_ good (as /usr might be mounted sepately), not counting that it's /lib64 in 64-bit multilib systems, and it might be somewhere else, too. Please take a look to dopammod function in pam eclass. Thanks, Diego
Hi Diego, Looks good to me. My reasoning in putting it in dev-libs was because it was split from opensc, but sys-auth indeed looks like a much better place. Would you mind moving it to sys-auth yourself (since you told me you got really good at package (re)moval ;-)? It may also make more sense for pam to maintain this than for crypto. You're welcome to take over in metadata.xml if you want. Cheers
Currently pam is understaffed (there's someone else other than me and Azarah on the alias?), so that might be difficult, I'll see to give a try to moving it later, but it would have been better if you could do that.
Moved.
