Seems like some old version of KDE build system use fake libtool files.
Azarah, you have some clue how to recognise this?

That would be a little surprising to me; I did an emerge -uDN world no later than last week, so kdelibs etc. is all the latest available in the x86 branch. No failed builds in the upgrade, and no other problems whatsoever. The reason I'm trying to reemerge labplot is it was broken by an ImageMagick upgrade (libMagick++.so.6 --> libMagick++.so.9). No other binaries are broken.

I should add that this happens on no other package, from the KDE builds or otherwise. Same thing happens with labplot-1.4.0.

The dummy ltconfig

I mean the admin dir inside the package.

Please wait an hour, sync, make sure kde.eclass is at rev 1.147 and test.

I am also getting a very similar emerge error for kbear. This seemed to also result from libMagick++.so dependency issue which I fixed by running revdep-rebuild -- -v. I will also sync and see if the problem continues.

Ok, did that, everything works. Thanks!

Solved by a resync.
