Description Thomas Cort (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-08 18:39:50 UTC
An ebuild for playground-xmms will be attached. playground-xmms is a plugin for controlling xmms via the playground gnome panel applet.

Playground is the replacement for gxmms, as stated on the website of gxmms (http://www.nongnu.org/gxmms/).

Version bump for media-plugins/playground-xmms.
Comment 5 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-26 12:53:26 UTC
XMMS is now obsolete, although still in Portage and somewhat supported, we're not accepting any more related packages.
Comment 6 Ruud Althuizen 2006-05-26 23:35:41 UTC
After some googling I agree with you, though I still don't like the idea. Anyway, if both plug-ins for playground are marked wont-fix there's no need to keep 122202 open.

So close that one up as well and I'll go in search for another mediaplayer that is still being developed.
