For some reason the drivers are not in the stock linux kernel. This is a popular board other distros include the driver on their install disks and kernel sources. It took me a while to figure out why scsi woulndt work but i could install because i used a mandrake-8.2 cdrom in rescue mode to install. It may be a good idea to include the driver. the driver is GNU General Public License. Kernel patches available at ftp://ftp.tekram.com/scsi/3X5/Linux/ I have not had an issue with this particular driver. -aaron
Hi, I took the latest drivers available from http://www.garloff.de/kurt/linux/dc395/ and patched them against 2.4.20 . A first pre release of xfs-sources-2.4.20 will be available soon. Note that the package I found on ftp.tekram.com seems to be outdated (it's from 1999).
