When after a start of Firefox it is put into fullscreen mode and an attempt is made to access one of the menus with a keyboard shortcut, the menu does not unfold, but worse: when going back to normal mode, the menu still refuses to appear: it stays blocked. It requires a restart of Firefox to get the menu to unfold again. How to reproduce: restart Firefox, press F11, Alt+B, Esc, F11, Alt+B -- nothing happens. When accessing the menu before entering fullscreen mode, however, the menu is also available when later coming back to normal mode: restart Firefox, press Alt+B, Esc, F11, Alt+B, Esc, F11, Alt+B -- the menu unfolds. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127244 The fix that is proposed there I've adapted for 1.5.0.1 and attached. It works. It would be nice if this could be included by Gentoo, as it is the Firefox bug that annoys me most -- and probably others too.

If upstream refuses to accept the patch, we can't maintain it either.
