could be true, you have the option to stop using it :)

SHould we mask the package in portage or something?
Comment 2 Frank Schmitt 2006-02-08 08:15:17 UTC
Well, my intent was to bring the problem in public. I still hope, someone will repair it, alternatively please mask the package
Comment 3 Frank Schmitt 2006-03-25 14:57:15 UTC
I think upstream-maintainer wont fix the problem, so please mask the pakage.

well, I talked to him some time ago, he is available as "blackpenguin" on IRC. Just query him, I tested with one package and it worked, dont know exactly where your problem is.

talk to upstream.

I have no control over the server and they are saying it sometimes does not work and more often works fine. blackpenguin on IRC (#gentoo-anfaegner on freenode eg)

I will not mask or remove it until upstream tells me it is broken
