Description Caleb Cushing 2006-02-08 02:41:32 UTC
When Firefox 1.5 set to 72 dpi it doesn't render preferences properly. When I set it to 96 dpi it makes everything on the screen tiny. Seems like a bug to me. I am attaching a jpeg. the font's window displays how it cut's off part of the window and I can't resize the font's window It doesn't give me any handles.

What dpi is your X server running in? Upstream is doing some changes slowly that depend on X settings, setting fonts to system instead of 96 and 72 dpi is best solution until they have worked out all the little issues. As they already know about it and are working on it upstream I am not gonna worry about it.

my system is set to 72 dpi. I tried setting it to system. with the same result's as statically setting it to 72. If I set my system to 96 everything else get's huge (and ugly). I hope they fix it soon. do you have a link to the upstream bug? so I can make sure I vote on it and see how it's progressing.
