Description Michael Diederich 2006-02-07 14:38:08 UTC
The last link in this capter is "Fahren Sie nun mit Kernelmodule fort." and links to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/de/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=7#kernel_modules - which is not existing or itself (i am not sure, looks like not existing).

You're in chap7 and it leads to chap8. For me it's fine.
Comment 2 Michael Diederich 2006-02-07 14:49:26 UTC
Not in the *german* documentation. I am into the capter 7 <http://www.gentoo.org/doc/de/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=7#doc_chap3> and it links to <http://www.gentoo.org/doc/de/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=7#kernel_modules>

(just close below command example 15)

You're right, section "Kernelmodule" lacks id="kernel_module".
grahl, could you take care of it? :)
Comment 4 Jan Hendrik Grahl (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-07 17:21:09 UTC
Apparently these links have been incorrect for quite some time and it seems that x86-kernel isn't the only file affected. I already fixed two other instances of missing section ids within x86, when I fixed this id.
The problem for this file is fixed in CVS, therefore I'll mark the bug as Fixed. Within this week I'll try to go through the handbook and see whether there are more instances of missing ids.

Thanks a lot for your bug report Michael!
