Hi!

Please find attached pmidi.tar.gz containing an ebuild of pmidi-1.5.5.

pmidi is a command line midi player for ALSA.

I found it quite useful for testing an initial ALSA/MIDI setup.

NOTE: This ebuild requires media-libs/alsa-lib-0.9.0_rc6.
      That's why I set KEYWORDS="~x86"

It should be possible to "recycle" this ebuild for earlier versions of pmidi
which of course depend on earlier ALSA versions.
Unfortunately, I cannot test that, as my hardware requires 0.9.0_rc6.

I suggest media-sound/pmidi.

pmidi doesn't have a GUI. It can be used in conjunction with aseqview, though.

I will probably submit an aseqview ebuild later.

Regards,

Rene

Sorry, attachment #6515 [details] was a .gz, not a .tar.gz.

Okay, committed to CVS.
Thanks for the submission!

p.s. For the future, if you could also provide an initial ChangeLog file, it
would be nice. ;^)
