Description Andrei Ivanov 2002-12-15 07:25:21 UTC
I wonder why jed's configuration differs on gentoo from all other linux
distributions and from its default configuration.
In /etc/jed.conf, Jed_Default_Emulation is "ide" and _Jed_Default_Color_Scheme
is "blue2". Please, set them to their original defaults, which I think are:

-_Jed_Default_Emulation = "emacs";
-_Jed_Default_Color_Scheme = "black1";

The /etc/jed.conf you reported, is the original that came with the package. You are free to change it locally to suit your preferences.

duh... I know that. But, as, I said earlier, why does gentoo differ from almost every distribution on the planet and the default package configuration just because the person who made the ebuild wanted that ??
