Since Firefox and Thunderbird 1.5, I experience the following problem: When I hover with the mouse over a checkbox, e.g. in the preferences dialog, this checkbox turns white on blue, the same colors as text selections. Most of the time, moving the mouse away does not make the checkbox normal again. When I leave the current tab, though, the elements return back to normal. It is the same problem with radio buttons, and I just checked that this is an issue in firefox-1.5.0.1-bin as well. Please, report this upstream and post the URL here. If it's reproducible with -bin ebuilds, it's pretty likely not a Gentoo-specific issue.
It might be a library issue as well. But GIMP seems to use the same UI elements, and is not affected. Reported upstream, link placed in URL.
