As per discussion on forum, spamassassin-3.1.0-r2 needs a DEPEND on dev-perl/Net-DNS-0.53-r1 and not earlier versions of aforementioned package.

Hmmm...this contradicts SA's INSTALL file in 3.1.1....what forum where?

INSTALL:    Net::DNS version 0.34 or higher is required to use Mail::SPF::Query.

Perhaps the SA INSTALL is wrong... because with 0.34 it just didn't work.
