Description James Kyte 2006-02-05 21:47:33 UTC
Wordnet-2.1-compile-fix.patch does not apply, causing the emerge to fail. See Wordnet-2.1-compile-fix.patch-16343.out. wordnet does build and run fine without the patch (in my case, at least).

Comment 5 Cristiano Chiucchiolo 2006-02-06 14:45:37 UTC
I'm still getting the same error.
Comment 6 James Kyte 2006-02-06 23:15:47 UTC
This is still broken. I think I know what is happening, though. The patch affects a string containing "$Id$", which is being substituted when commited to cvs. The result being the patch is rejected. I believe you need to use the -ko flag on import.
Comment 7 Anders Rune Jensen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-07 14:48:10 UTC
Fixed it now for real.

Someone really should hit the guy who added that braindamaged "feature" to cvs 60 times hard with a sledgehammer.
