I want to flush out the pax-utils ebuilds older than 0.1.9 There have been a number of bug fixes from the last major round of stable markings. I'll give vapier first whack at this bug as he single handily owns nearly every arch and is the coauthor of utils. portage-2.0.55 is targeted for the tree about next week. portage depends on the pax-utils for misc ELF handling. There have been new features added to the pax-utils which portage could take advantage of like auto fixing bad RPATH's, multilib-strict checking, scanning of archives. I'm filing this bug to begin the process of calling for testing. I'm not asking you to mark it stable till you are comfortable. But the main reason for marking a newer version stable is that about 36 hours of fuzz checking was done on the scanelf util in an effort to make it more robust in handling improper, malformed ELF executables. So overall it should be more stable that the current stable. Current keywords: 0.1.4: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 m68k mips ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86

All arches stable. Old ebuilds removed. New 0.1.10 in the tree which fixes a bug with not detecting NULL rpaths. Closing bug as FIXED.
