Description Mike McQuaid 2006-02-05 18:19:43 UTC
libXvMCNVIDIA.a and libXvMCNVIDIA.so.1.0.8178 libraries are put in /usr/lib/xorg/ rather than /usr/lib/, preventing them from being detected by xine-lib and mplayer ./configure

They need to be symlinked or copied into /usr/lib/ (or /usr/lib64) before they are detected.

Can the ebuild be fixed for this?

On my system they are in /usr/lib64. I wonder why yours is different?
