Spund with ad1896a codec and nvidia MC51 won't work as needed, eg: when you start playback sound goes only from right speaker, from the left there is something cracking/unstable. when you try to change sound volume from programm other than alsamixer - sound disables, and no sound until you reload snd-hda-intel module. while googled, found a bunch of peoples with same problem, and also a patch to fix that. altrough it breaks 5.1 support (only within this module) ;(
Created attachment 78920 [details, diff] patch i found adopted to the latest alsa-kernel sources there is also a bugreport upsteam, but no responce ;(
Leave this to upstream as 11_rc3 is still a release candidate.
