Hi everybody, I noticed that dev-ruby/mysql-ruby-2.7 has a wrong digest, I got now for about two days the following: >>> emerge (1 of 1) dev-ruby/mysql-ruby-2.7 to / !!! Digest verification Failed: !!! /usr/portage/dev-ruby/mysql-ruby/mysql-ruby-2.4.5.ebuild !!! Reason: Failed on RMD160 verification !!! Got: 0abfdd9b13d6182b054224d48a680330ceaa4d13 !!! Expected: c44b8fa34e98696ef0f3342647e65756fc515d7c >>> Please ensure you have sync'd properly. Please try 'emerge sync' and >>> optionally examine the file(s) for corruption. A sync will fix most cases. Of course I did emerge --sync and I also removed the file from distfiles, I also tried a different mirror, same error. Fetching the file from the official mysql-ruby site also didn't help (same checksum as on the mirrors)... Thus I'm thinking that the digest is wrong! thx for looking, Steffen Strobel
Oh sorry, I just switched my brain back on, of course the mysql-ruby-2.4.5.ebuild checksum is wrong and not the mysql-ruby-2.7 distfile md5 sum... *ashamed* I should probably sleep more... :) Steffen
thx, it's now fixed: # ChangeLog for dev-ruby/mysql-ruby # Copyright 2000-2006 Gentoo Foundation; Distributed under the GPL v2 # $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/dev-ruby/mysql-ruby/ChangeLog,v 1.24 2006/02/ 04 15:04:14 solar Exp $ 04 Feb 2006; <solar@gentoo.org> : - redigest needed due to bad RMD160. bug #121124 ... http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121124 Steffen
