Created attachment 80109 [details] media-fonts/ttf-libertine/ttf-libertine-2.0.4.ebuild Version bump to 2.0.4 (20060202). Look at http://linuxlibertine.sourceforge.net/ and download from http://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxlibertine. Great font! And because it is under the GPL-2 I think it should go into the portage tree soon, don't you think?

Very nice fonts inded. I also vote for moving them into portage tree. And thanks to people for the ebuild.

is there any advantage for us to install the OpenType variants in{stead, addition}?
Added to portage. Thanks all.
Hi! Sorry, but there seems to be an issue with Linux Libertine 2.6.9 and OpenOffice.org (at least 2.2.x and 2.3.x). After emerging media-fonts/libertine-ttf-2.6.9 I can only see two fonts in OOo: 1. "Linux Libertine" 2. "Linux Libertine C" (Capital Letters) The problem is, that the 1st font is the underlined version, which should be: 3. "Linux Libertine U" (Underlined) I tried the previous version, Linux Libertine 2.5.9: here all three variants of the font are there. So I would suggest to put media-fonts/libertine-ttf-2.5.9 also into the tree and, if no one else experiences a bug, make the 2.5.9 stable. Can anyone else confim the bug with 2.6.9? Greetings, Andreas.
Created attachment 132253 [details] libertine-ttf-2.5.9.ebuild See comment #18. This is merely a backport to 2.5.9, the code of the ebuild should be exactly the same as 2.6.9, only the ebuild name differs.

2.7.9 is out... Works well with the 2.6.9-ebuild (just rename it to 2.7.9) and doesn't have the bug from 2.6.9 (see bug #194409). Happy new year! Andreas.
There is new version (2.8.14) available
