Would it be possible to add a use flag (or some other mechanism) to allow users to select if dev-python/psycopg-2* is to be compiled using the dev-python/egenix-mx-base date.time classes instead of the python date/time classes.

This use flag when set would add a dependency to dev-python/egenix-mx-base and also set use_pydatetime=0 in setup.cfg.
