Comment 2 Karl H 2006-01-31 04:43:54 UTC
I am trying to install HTML-TokeParser-Simple

# emerge -av HTML-TokeParser-Simple

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] dev-perl/Test-Exception-0.20 0 kB
[ebuild N ] dev-perl/Sub-Override-0.05 4 kB
[ebuild N ] dev-perl/HTML-TokeParser-Simple-3.14 15 kB

Total size of downloads: 19 kB

Comment 3 Karl H 2006-01-31 05:16:12 UTC
I installed dev-perl/module-build then dev-perl/HTML-TokeParser-Simple-3.14 installed fine.
Comment 4 Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-07 09:00:44 UTC
Test-Exception has a dep on module-build, so I suspect that during an upgrade of perl you didn't run perlcleaner to rebuild anything linked against your old perl...
