Description Guy Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-30 03:48:28 UTC
Hello guys,

I got access violation reported by sandbox when I compile vte with USE=python.
This seems to occure only to versions higher than 0.11.15.

This occures during src_compile() :

(cd . \
 && /usr/bin/pygtk-codegen-2.0 \
            --register /usr/share/pygtk/2.0/defs/pango-types.defs \
            --register /usr/share/pygtk/2.0/defs/gdk-types.defs \
            --register /usr/share/pygtk/2.0/defs/gtk-types.defs \
            --override vte.override \
            --prefix pyvte vte.defs) > gen-vte.c \
        && cp gen-vte.c vte.c \
        && rm -f gen-vte.c

Thanks

Anything else ? :)
Comment 5 Guy Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-31 03:15:50 UTC
Mhh apparently if the files causing trouble already exists, it does merge fine.

Maybe there is a way to disable python cache.
Comment 6 Guy Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-03 06:34:05 UTC
Ok apparently, I was missing those files.
I reemerged pygtk and then they appeared. The way it's compiled prevent them to appear in the CONTENT file btw.

vte was then happy.
